TOP 5 Things to do in Marylebone

We spoke to Sam Norsworthy, Manager of Ruffians Marylebone to give us the low-down of the top things to do in Marylebone. Unsurprisingly know Sam, most of these revolve around food and drink:

1. Angel in the Fields- Drinks

Sam Smiths pub with original interiors with open fire place. The Cheapest pints youll find but that doesn’t mean they don’t go down just as easily! not one if your looking for fancy cocktails but if your up for an quick pint in a nice setting cant go wrong.

2. Providores – Eat/Brunch

Eat at The Providores, with the largest selection of New Zealand wine in Europe, just one of the reasons to visit this restaurant. Personally I’d visit and enjoy the weekend brunch, but book ahead or get there early to avoid disappointment. From the Waiters to the chefs Providores had proved why it’s a hot spot time and time again.

3. La Fromagerie – Shop

A mecca for cheese enthusiasts, If this place doesn’t stock something its not worth having. Located on one of Marylebone’s side roads (conveniently next to the ginger pig butchers also worth a visit) you can take you pick from hundreds of options, go into the speciality sealed cheese room or even try some of the goods in the in house restaurant.

4. Le relais de venise – Eat

The perfect spot for steak and frites, regularly with queues out the door at peak times! But definitely worth the wait! With their infamous sauce simply choose your how you wish it to be done then sit back and enjoy. I recommended washing it down with one of their many selections of red!

5. Daunt Books – Shop

Visit London’s best and most iconic book shop! If looks alone don’t impress you, featuring long galleries and stained glass windows than the selection of books will surely do the job. Lose hours in Daunt, a quiet Edwardian refuge in the heart of Marylebone!
