Ruffians at the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show

Earlier this month, the Ruffians Edinburgh team had the pleasure of styling the hair of the male models who took part in the annual Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show (ECFS). The show this year was all about creating an immersive experience, incorporating taste, smell and touch into the runway and Dan, Robyn and Laura had a blast being a part of such an important event. This year, ECFS was raising money for the mental health charity, Penumbra, which helps adults and young people across Scotland battling with poor mental health, offering a wide range of services which promote recovery and give hope to those in need.

Here at Ruffians, we’re all about looking and feeling good and believe in the importance of self-care when it comes to mental health, thats why we were thrilled to be a part of this special cause in raising money for Penumbra. Dan, Robyn and Laura were on hand to deliver expert styling and to also give out a few tips and tricks backstage for the models and designers alike.

For the past two years, the ECFS has been a huge success, raising nearly £35,000 in 2017 and 2018 for various charities. Dan, Robyn and Laura were all excited to get stuck in, from skin fades to longer cuts, the team left no hairstyle untouched for this collaboration of fashion, music and art.
